HE MAY STILL BE IN PRACTICE!

Today, April 3, 2024, I see that this dangerous pile of medical ignorance still seems to be in practice.

Since he is apparently on the respected University of Chicago Medicine staff as of this date in April, 2024,  I certainly hope he no longer tells people with macular degeneration that they have this condition because they are on Prolia!

 When lawyers screw up they may be disbarred. 

 Comprehending this fact should not be so hard! 

 Clients will pay and give trust unalloyed.  

 Never expecting that they’ll be destroyed! 

 Per contra: When when docs’ words leave patients in tatters,  

 They just go right on as if nothing else matters! 

 So I drowned in floods of horrendous advice,   

 From a careless physician!  The results were not nice!

This was my reaction to being carelessly told by a retina doctor — Dr. Timothy Flood (now thank goodness retired) that my eye condition — macular degeneration — was because I was on the osteoporosis drug Prolia! 

This caused me, fearing for my eyesight, to skip a Prolia shot, resulting in three painful vertebral fractures!!!     

In fact, as I learned too late from what turned out to be a more reliable authority (a friend who was a fellow at the National Eye Institute, and now on the faculty of Harvard Medical School) this eye condition was related to osteoporosis and not to Prolia!   

So once again I shared by reaction:  

 When you're dumb as a sack full of hammers, 

 You should only treat eyes from a spud,  

 But, pardon my verbal bad manners, 

 That rule washed away in a Flood! 

 What more can I say of these matters?  

 I really was plain out of luck! 

 That doc left my body in tatters! 

No question he was one dumb f---! ###

 When I read about this physician and his distinguished history -- I am dumbstruck!  How could such a well-educated, experienced physician have given me advice that was totally wrong - and that left me in pain for most likely the rest of my life!

A PARADOX! MANY ACIDIC FOODS CAN BE ALKALIZING, BUT CAN BE HARD ON TEETH!
