But one existing song, "It's my Party," so expressed my feelings that I just had to write a parody and include it here.
As you can see, I'm having a better day today and have regained a good deal of mobility, and my spinal curvature has largely straightened by dint of a lot of work in physical therapy, although standing or sitting for more than a few minutes is still difficult.
I gave it my best as I recorded this, but I was in a good deal of pain and had to lie down right afterwards because once again I began to feel as if I were slowly but surely being crushed in a medieval torture device.
And I'm sorry if I made a hash out of the tricky tune -- with sincere apologies to the writers and the incomparable singer Lesley Gore -- but hopefully you'll catch my words (which I printed below)!
